Our client based in Oberdorf (Switzerland) is looking for an Associate Test Engineer to conduct investigations of newly developed or modified products and is responsible for the planning, coordination, preparation, and execution of recurring product tests.
Responsibilities:
* Assists in close collaboration with (Senior) Test Engineers, in the planning, coordination, preparation, and execution of recurring mechanical product tests.
* Independently conducts routine tests.
* In close collaboration with (Senior) Test Engineers, responsible for the evaluation and interpretation of product test results.
* Prepares test protocols and test reports and enters data into IT/LIMS systems.
* Contributes to the development and introduction of new testing methods, including the creation of standard operating procedures and validation of testing methods.
* Participates in updating, maintenance, or creation of test instructions and other documents in the document management systems.
* Meets specific internal, ISO, and FDA requirements in the field of product testing.
Must haves:
* Completed apprenticeship (e.g., polymechanic, laboratory technician), ideally with 1-2 years of practical experience in the field of product testing or a comparable combination of vocational training and experience in industry or laboratory.
* Or Higher education (Bachelor/Master) in the field of biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering.
* Further training in the area of product testing, material properties, surface technology is an advantage.
