Job Title: Senior Global Aerospace and Defense Account Manager
Summary:
This is a senior-level sales role requiring management of high-level global aerospace and defense accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships, growing existing business, and meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify Key Targets: Collaborate with office leadership and sector teams to identify key targets for new business opportunities.
* Prospect for New Business: Continuously prospect for new business through in-person meetings, social media, phone calls, and industry events.
* Develop and Nurture Relationships: Develop a pipeline of opportunity beyond what is needed to achieve sales goals, nurture leads, and cultivate strong relationships to meet or exceed sales quota.
* Account Management: Provide general account management and support for ongoing product development programs, including client liaison, communication, strategic consultation, timeline management, and quality control.
* Sales Performance: Consistently track activities and opportunities through our CRM and meet or exceed annual sales quotas.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or higher education preferred.
* Experience: 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible sales, key account management, or sales operations roles within the EMS industry.
* Proven Track Record: Proven track record of managing at least $50mm in aerospace and defense sales, with demonstrated success in long-lead, large sales and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quota.
* Product Development Knowledge: Well-rounded knowledge of the product development process, including product research & strategy, human factors design, industrial design, and manufacturing.
* Citizenship: Must be a US citizen to be considered for this position.
