As a Category Commercial Development Manager THOMY, you will be responsible to develop omni-channel commercial strategies delivering category growth at our customers for the categories THOMY plays in. Create commercial plans that are shopper relevant for a brand that has a personal meaning to everyone.
A Day in the Life of a Category Commercial Development Manager THOMY
1. Be a crucial part of the strategic "Delivering Category Growth" process by fueling annual commercial planning through key analysis driving commercial opportunities at customers.
2. Analyze shoppers’ buying decisions within the store to give recommendations based on quantitative analysis and shopper studies.
3. Deliver clear channel strategies on product assortment, promotional guidelines and pricing strategy.
4. Create promotion strategies per category and channel, analyzing results to optimize sell-out and ROI.
5. Drive meaningful analysis regarding price/pack architecture of new launches/adaptions of existing product needs to be based on competitive set up.
6. Lead the preparation of presentations for our customers per category, delivering clear insight based commercial opportunities that we can leverage together and participate at customer meetings.
What will make you successful
1. Extensive professional experience in the food industry and/or proven experience in a finance, commercial, or sales function.
2. Cross-functional experience in Sales, key account management, marketing, category management, and finance preferred.
3. Demonstrated commercial competencies, including master shopper understanding and leading category development.
4. Strong analytical skills.
5. Strong leadership competencies and communication skills.
6. Fluency in English and German is a must, French is a plus.
