The HR Onboarding & Offboarding Specialist will ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new staff, making them feel welcomed and supported before their arrival in Switzerland.
Working closely with various departments, you will coordinate onboarding activities, prepare paperwork, conduct orientations and inductions, and create personalized onboarding plans.
As a people person who enjoys planning, you will engage staff prior to their arrival, bring best practices to the workplace, and actively participate in policy development.
You will increase transparency by providing HR Policy guidance and training, review practices to enhance efficiency, and suggest new HR strategies and improvements based on employee feedback.

**Responsibilities:**
• Coordinate and schedule new employee onboarding activities
• Create buddy schedules for the commencement of the academic year
• Prepare new employee paperwork
• Create personalized onboarding plans
• Assist new employees with completing required documentation and processes
• Serve as a main point of contact for new employees
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure proper onboarding
• Develop and implement onboarding policies and procedures
• Create clear policies and employee handbooks
• Craft and send emails with information about the school and employee's position
• Prepare onboarding kits and arrival packages
• Welcome new employees upon their arrival
• Introduce team members and construct sessions for question-and-answer sessions
• Gather and process paperwork
• Coordinate presentations and engage with team members
• Ensure new hires have technical assistance
• Distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines
• Address new hires' queries regarding contracts and payroll
• Prepare offboarding paperwork and support departing staff
**The successful candidate will have:**
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in the education management industry
• In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
• Experience in a customer service role
