The CAE Engineer (m/w/d) will be responsible for utilizing advanced simulation techniques and software to support product development, optimize design processes, and enhance the performance and reliability of products. This role demands a deep understanding of engineering principles, computational methods, and practical application of CAE tools. Your profile:
1. University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or Materials Science or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Work experience (3+ years) in CAE (Computer Aided Design)
3. Proficiency with CAE software tools
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles, material science, and mechanics.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering concepts to real-world scenarios.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) is a plus.
8. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product design and testing.
Preferred Skills:
9. Experience in the chemical, materials, plastics or manufacturing industries.
10. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
11. Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Your responsibilities:
13. Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to support product development and optimization.
14. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate CAE insights into the product development cycle.
15. Develop and validate CAE models to predict the performance, durability, and reliability of materials and products.
16. Analyze simulation results, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations to improve design and manufacturing processes.
17. Stay current with the latest developments in CAE technology and methodologies, and implement best practices to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency.
18. Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of product failures through detailed simulation studies.
19. Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
20. Document and present findings, methodologies, and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and senior management.
