We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Marketing Communications Leader to join our Automotive Coatings unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans that enhance our brand presence and drive customer engagement on a global scale. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing communications and a passion for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build brand awareness and customer loyalty globally.
* Manage the marketing communications budget and ensure program milestones are met.
* Collaborate with global Automotive Coatings leadership team to develop and execute global communications strategies and initiatives.
* Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
* Measure and track the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
* Coordinate public relations activities, including media relations, influencer partnerships, and event planning in alignment with Corporate and Functional Communications teams.
* Maintain effective relationships with media, external vendors, and key stakeholders worldwide.
* Ensure all business unit communications and marketing materials align with corporate and brand guidelines.
* Advise and support key demand generation activities.
* Lead and mentor a team of communications specialists.
* Own and develop internal communications strategies and initiatives for the business unit to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all levels of the organization.
* Develop and implement a cadence of leader communications, which will include quarterly town halls and content for the business unit’s internal online platforms.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications
* 7+ years of experience in marketing communications
* Prior automotive or industrial coatings industry experience preferred
* Global experience preferred
* Proven record of implementing successful marketing strategies
* Strong project management skills
