During the tenure of this position, the Stakeholder will float to numerous store locations and work with several different Cheese Managers to gain experience in the duties and responsibilities required to achieve a Cheese Specialist title.
The candidate will assist the Specialty Cheese Manager in achieving “Kowalski’s Brand” within the department with a focus in the following areas:
1. Customer Service
2. Production
3. Product Knowledge
4. Ordering
5. Merchandising and maintaining proper fill levels within the department
6. Ensure all Signage is accurate within the Department (Pricing, promotional and description)
7. Achieve sales goals
8. Conduct Inventories and meet budgeted gross profit bench marks
9. Ensure all proper handling, sanitation, freshness, and quality of product standards are met
10. Assist in managing other Cheese Stakeholders within the department
11. Make use of movement reports and learn how to use them as a planning tool
12. Understand the process behind catering orders and how to facilitate custom orders
13. Take an active role in Cheese Classes
