Interested in Doctoral Studies in Organizational Behavior?
I am looking for a doctoral student starting fall September 2025.
What I have learned from mentoring Ph.D. students: It really takes an intrinsically motivated person with an unrelenting passion for learning and tremendous persistence in building one's expertise.
A background in math, statistics, and research methods is a great foundation.
There needs to be ability and willingness to manage relationships and build networks within and outside one's unit.
What one puts in greatly affects what one can get out of it.
While the education one gets is amazing, the academic job market is tough. One has to be willing to move around and initially take intermediate jobs like post-doc positions.
If you are interested, reach out to me and/or apply. You can find the formal position ad below. Feel free to reach out to former and current students of mine: Chetan Joshi, Emmanuelle P. Kleinlogel, Tobias Dennerlein, Celia Chui, Thomas Fischer, Kathleen O'Leary, Liliane Keopraseuth, Yiran Guo, Alex Odlum, Carlos E. Santos Saint Romain.
