The Global Head of Planning & Fulfillment Medium & Low Speed will be responsible for overseeing and cooperating with the Value Stream Management Function the entire supply chain process in Division Medium & Low speed, ensuring that products are planned, produced, and delivered efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to optimize our planning and fulfillment operations.
The role reports to the Global Head of Operations Medium & Low Speed and is based in Baden, Switzerland.
Your responsibilities:
Propose, develop, and implement in cooperation with Value Stream Management Function the supply chain strategies related to Medium & Low Speed Division aligned with business objectives and improve overall efficiency.
Implement forecast demand, oversee production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate when needed the actions and improvements plans cooperating with our Value Stream Function, especially Continuous Improvements Teams.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess the effectiveness of planning and fulfillment processes.
Work closely with sales, commercial management, value chain, and production teams to ensure alignment on goals and processes.
Manage a high-performing team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Maintain relationships with suppliers for direct material procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement logistics management.
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in supply chain management, planning, and fulfillment roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Good experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.
Fluent in German and English.
