What will you do:
You will drive participation at global events, from tradeshows to speaking opportunities, as well as manage the development of interviews, panels, and other in-person or online events. This role requires a growth-oriented individual who works to provide a seamless and memorable experience for customers and prospects. You will work with marketing and business leaders to create and deliver high-value, proprietary, memorable experiences to Johnson Controls customers and prospects globally. This role will look at the end-to-end delivery of marketing through events, from an event calendar through to contributing to content development and asset creation, as well as leading on-site/digital implementation.
Specifically focused on:
1. New opportunity identification and program optimization
How will you do it:
1. Design and implement a comprehensive event program that aligns with business objectives and target audience needs.
2. Delivery of ongoing calendar key milestones and delivery of program updates.
3. Best-in-class project management to ensure a consistent planning process for executing strategic goals and timely accomplishment of tasks.
4. Management of the creation of content and toolkits to amplify the event program.
5. Provide regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
6. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
7. Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve marketing programs.
8. Participate in sales efforts and have direct customer contact (external customers). Collect, consolidate, and prioritize VOC (external) and seller/field feedback (internal customers) and incorporate it into customer and event programs that support our growth strategies.
What we look for:
1. Minimum of 5-7 years’ international experience in events, marketing, communications, or project management.
2. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related curriculum.
3. Project management skills to manage multiple projects and schedules.
4. Ability to collaborate and work internationally is required; international marketing experience preferred.
5. Excellent written and spoken English language skills are a must.
