Our Expertise
Stadler Signalling is the Stadler Group's competence center for signalling technology and digitalization with multiple locations in Germany, Switzerland, and North America. Our teams of highly qualified employees work on the further development of our signalling solutions in areas such as automated driving (ATO), train control (ETCS), modern complete systems (CBTC), interlocking, and passenger information systems.
Your Impact
* You will contribute to system engineering of a hardware & software system in ETCS (European Train Control System)
* Design and integrate on-board systems into rail vehicles
* Create concepts, system requirements specifications, and electrical schematics
* Participate in static & dynamic commissioning of the systems in rail vehicles as well as in type tests in the field
* Prepare evidences for authorization
* Interface with customers, assessors, and suppliers
* Work in complex projects with multiple stakeholders and in a multi-cultural environment
* Develop system architecture
* Further develop the system based on customer requirements
Requirements
* You hold a completed technical education as a mechanical, electronic, or computer science engineer from ETH / TU / FH or comparable institutions
* You have fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
* You possess good analytical and interpersonal skills
* You are willing to travel in Europe (up to 25%)
Desirable Skills
* You have knowledge of ETCS including European Railway Agency (ERA) standards
* You have knowledge of National Train Control Systems in different European countries (PZB / LZB, ATB-EG, TBL1+, SCMT, MIREL, Zub123 etc.)
* You have experience with Class B systems integration
* You are familiar with tools like DOORS, RQM, CCM, as well as MVB protocols and/or the simulation environment
* You have German language skills (spoken and written)
* You have experience in hardware integration
