We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Regional HR Europe team. This team is responsible for the employee life cycle, talent acquisition, support to business leaders on performance management and employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, payroll and benefits administration, and continuous HR process improvement.
The successful candidate will be part of the HR Business unit, reporting directly to the Head of HR, with a presence in Zug, London, and Luxembourg, as well as covering other European offices (Guernsey, Milan, Munich, and Paris).
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the Regional HR Europe team in its daily activities
* Supervising and coaching team members, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams
* Maintaining compliance with local labor laws and staying up-to-date with legislation changes
* Guiding the team in optimizing HR processes and tasks related to the employee lifecycle for maximum efficiency
* Administering all HR operational processes, related systems, and documentation
* Managing external providers and resources related to HR operations
* Addressing complex HR operational concerns and serving as the escalation point prior to the Head of HR
* Providing advice and guidance to employees on HR matters
* Implementing and driving process, policy, and document upgrades
* Managing complex employee relation cases and legal matters, escalating more complex issues as needed
* Demonstrated experience working in HR Operations or a related field for at least 8-10 years with increasing levels of responsibility, degree in HR or a related field
* Leadership skills with experience in leading and guiding a team
* Demonstrated experience in managing projects relating to process, systems, and control improvements and a proven track record of highly organized and structured work approach with strong understanding of HR processes
* Strong interpersonal skills for effectively supporting and advising employees and businesses on HR matters
* Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting
* Experience in coaching more junior members, while providing proactive, constructive upward and downward feedback
* Proficiency in English required; proficiency in German preferred
