The Process Documentation Manager will lead efforts to design, document, and critically review processes within the organization. They will identify opportunities for automation, streamlining to improve efficiency and effectiveness and support change programs with process documentation where required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and own the framework for process documentation ensuring consistency and quality.
* Engage with stakeholders across IT and business teams to map and analyse current-state processes.
* Identify and propose opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI integration.
* Oversee the creation and maintenance of process documentation using tools like Visio, ensuring it remains relevant and actionable.
* Lead workshops and facilitate discussions to gather process inputs and validate outputs with stakeholders.
* Collaborate with analysts and IT teams to define requirements for automation initiatives.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to analysts working on process documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 8+ years of experience in process design and documentation, preferably within IT or a related environment.
* Strong expertise in process modelling tools (e.g., Visio) and familiarity with AI-driven process tools (e.g., Nintex, UiPath, or others).
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing complex documentation projects with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
* Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to identify and articulate improvement opportunities.
* Demonstrable experience in ITIL/ITSM practices and the use of ITSM tools.
* Experience working in or supporting commodity trading or similar industries is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
* Experience with AI-driven process generation and automation technologies.
* ITIL V3 / V4 Foundation or above.
