You will be accountable to drive a lean and effective end-to-end sales process across the funnel, working with the Top 500 Companies and brands, the leaders in their industries.You will be well networked into the wider global company, using the power of the One Valtech organisation to drive the Swiss-based business.A day in the life of a Senior Sales ManagerAs a Senior Sales Manager, you will mainly be responsible for developing, driving, and winning new business opportunities for new clients. You will represent Valtech as a go-to contact in the market, acting as an internal touchpoint and a role model.In addition, you will be:Developing and executing the go-to-market plan for new business offerings with net new customers in the DACH region.Growing our business via net new clients in the Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors.Proactively approaching our target groups through new leads and your extensive network in the Swiss region, skillfully driving the dialogue from initial contact through to successful deal closure.Driving the sales pipeline development in close partnership with Valtech’s Global and Regional Business Development team through business development and lead generation activities.Engaging with prospect organisations to position Valtech solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, and references from clients and partners.Leading end-to-end presales / RFP response / pitch process through qualification and win strategy definition.Participating in relevant marketing, networking, and industry events.Collaborating with Valtech’s key technology platform partners in the region, e.g., Sitecore, Salesforce, Optimizely, Contentful, Adobe, Commercetools, Fluent Commerce, and others.Accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.Keeping up with client success case studies and services value proposition development within Valtech.Managing information about new contacts or clients, prospects, business proposals, and business pipelines using Salesforce CRM.We would love if you haveBased in the German-speaking part of Switzerland with demonstrable experience in business development/sales roles within the digital agency/tech professional services industry.Possess an excellent existing network of potential clients in the Swiss locale.In-depth knowledge of the relevant vertical markets – Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Financial Services.Demonstrable track record of selling multi-year engagements.Personal drive to “get it done and right” and the ability to make effective decisions.Flexibility and ability to adjust on-the-fly to new demands and business environments.Comfortable and confident holding accountability for multi-million revenue targets.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.Assertiveness, directness, and a “company first” mentality.Strong senior executive engagement and influencing skills.Proficient English and German communicator; Swiss German is highly desirable.A team player, mentor, and ally, being part of a diverse and passionate team.What you can expect from us25 days of paid vacation.Highly competitive pension scheme.Choose your own IT infrastructure.Flexible working time and location within Switzerland plus 30 days remote working from anywhere in the world.Apart from the benefits listed above, we have more to offer, including our growth development program to help you excel in your existing profession or explore another.
