Information & Operational Technology Engineer (m/f/d)
Background:
The Team in Roche Kaiseraugst is looking for an Information and Operational Technology Engineer in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing that will join an on-going IT OT virtualization project.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the planning, delivery, operations and maintenance of IT and OT systems
* Analyze system requirements to create effective IT and OT Infrastructure designs by collaborating with global IT infrastructure
* Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks improving workflow across departments
* Collaborate with network and cybersecurity experts to integrate automated solutions seamlessly
* Install and verify IT infrastructure for traditional and virtualization environments
* Write IT and OT tests for qualification and configuration of the system
* Execute thorough testing protocols to qualify and validate IT and OT system functionality
* Manage change requests for IT tasks
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing IT and OT setups and provide on-site local support to manufacturing plants
* Continuously evaluate and update IT and OT systems for efficiency
* Document processes and system configurations following GxP and Computer System Validation requirements
* Contribute to deliver project documentation deliverables
* Collaborate with quality assurance specialists for ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices expectations and quality integrity
Must Haves:
* Master’s degree in computer science + certification in automation engineering or related technologies
* At least 5 years of experience in IT and OT system setup and troubleshooting
* Experience with virtualization infrastructure
* Experience as an engineer in traditional control systems
* Knowledge of the technological needs that determine the decisions taken at the production workshop level
* Proficiency in managing system installation, qualification and validation
* Proficiency in test writings and executions
* At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing IT and OT
* Proficiency in working in GMP and GxP environment
* Good experience with network connectivity and cybersecurity (IT and OT subnets)
* Several years of experience with project work
* Experience with PI (Process Integration) Data Historian
* Experience with shop floor automation systems, Service NOW & eVAL
* Excellent communication skills in German and English
* Able to work with cross-functional teams
* Able to be simultaneously operational and project-oriented
* Process-oriented and work with high precision
* Good and flexible team member for project work
* Able to work with tight deadlines and high expectations
