The Competence Center Thermal Energy Storage (CCTES) is a leading research group with worldwide collaborations, concentrating on energy storage technologies and system analysis.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop novel thermal energy storage materials, emphasizing salt hydrates.
* Collaborate with industrial partners on research projects.
* Measure thermophysical and structural properties using advanced analytical instruments.
* Design and conduct material compatibility and stability tests.
* Optimize materials by incorporating additives and surfactants.
* Co-author scientific papers and participate in international conferences.
* Supervise bachelor and master theses.
* Optionally, participate in teaching activities.
Your Profile
* Possess a Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry.
* Hold expertise in at least one area: inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, or crystallization.
* Be enthusiastic about laboratory work and have a hands-on attitude.
* Demonstrate excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Excel in project management, presentation, and learning new topics rapidly.
* Be creative, a team player, communicative, and eager to learn.
* Able to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently.
* Show passion for energy topics, material development, and problem-solving.
