The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, identifying and implementing improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Main Responsibilities
* Pilot and execute NC treatment via 8D, 5-Why, and 6M methodology
* Analyze and resolve non-conformities (NC) across all ESS sites
* Coordinate and prioritize NC actions to satisfy clients and secure deliveries
* Implement and request implementation of NC actions with corresponding evidence
* Evaluate and escalate issues due to complexity or blocking points in resolution
* Follow up on NC treatment and support customer support
* Support development and engineering change projects to anticipate issues
* Participate in phase reviews and continual improvement projects
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
Requirements
* Masters degree in Mechanics, Microtechnics, Electrotechnics, Material Science, Physics, or equivalent
* Deep knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments
* Certified internal auditor is a plus
* At least 15 years of experience in R&D, Quality, or Production Engineering
* Fluent in English and French, German is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and negotiation skills
