The Project Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial management of Unilabs CH Operational Transformation Project. This position ensures that financial planning, forecasting, reporting and cost control processes align with the strategic objectives of the transformation initiative.
This role suits an experienced professional with outstanding analytical, organizational and communication skills. The candidate should have a personal determination to deliver, take responsibility, act proactively and communicate effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop, monitor and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
* Financial Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance against forecasts, identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
* Financial Modelling and Analysis: Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Project Performance and Risk Management:
* Financial Insights and Optimization: Provide financial insights to project leaders and stakeholders and optimize resource allocation.
* Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the transformation program.
* Change Impact Assessment: Assess the financial impact of change requests, scope adjustments and operational shifts.
* Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to maximize project efficiency and ROI.
Stakeholder and Compliance Management:
* Team Collaboration: Ensure coordination of Finance, Operations and Project teams to align financial and operational strategies.
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
* Executive Reporting: Support executive reporting by preparing financial dashboards, KPIs and variance analysis reports.
* Audit and Review: Assist in financial audits and post-implementation reviews to assess project success.
Your Profile:
* Experience: 15+ years of FP&A experience in a multinational environment, with significant experience in large-scale transformation projects or operational restructuring.
* Transformation Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of transformation programs, change management and financial impact assessment.
* Financial Skills: Extensive financial modelling, forecasting and analysis skills.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, experience in extracting and transforming datasets from ERP/CRM/BI platforms, familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
* Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, collaborative mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities, self-driven, autonomous, active in engaging remotely with business owners.
* Languages: Fluent in English/French, German is a plus.
