What you will do
The Global Smart Operations Director will be essential in enhancing our Physical Supply FLOW by utilizing digital agility to ensure consistent reliability and profitability in meeting customer needs. This critical role within our Operations team is responsible for re-imagining the customer experience and improving the speed, cost, and transparency of the supply chain through innovative technologies. The primary focus is to enable seamless flow by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and to amplify value by leveraging advanced digital capabilities and ensuring cross-integration of nodes.
Key Responsibilities
Anchor the end-to-end orchestration of digitally enabled value chain to enhance & accelerate flow with consistent reliability and agility to profitably respond to customer needs.
Play a role in supporting the development of thought leadership addressing the latest in supply chain innovation and digital supply chain.
Develop and implement smart solutions across value chain nodes and help in building capabilities and processes to support our regions.
Develop and implement strategies and operational improvement projects within their own organization, as well as within their extended supply chain network with suppliers and channel partners.
Participate in external networking and industry expertise forums to adopt best practices and bring ideas that shape the Consumer SC Digital landscape.
Accountable for project delivery and identification of use cases.
Lead the Smart Operations team to orchestrate the Ideation process and foster solutions pipeline; develop a roadmap that helps deliver the Consumer SC strategic priorities.
Drive execution of 3-year integrated roadmap of the region.
Lead the Governance with the Smart Operations Council and Steering Committee, involving all functions and regions to manage end-to-end trade-offs and ensure value delivery.
Partner closely with functions, T&D and DTO Team to shape key strategies of Twin Metaverse, Digital Performance Management, Multi-enterprise collaboration, Command Center and Supplier reliability.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or greater in Engineering or Operations management. MBA can be an added benefit.
12 Years+ of cross-functional Supply Chain experience with good hands-on experience in plan/make operational role, Strategy development and deployment, Digital Supply Chain, SC transformation projects, Program Management.
Desired Qualifications
Rounded experience of supply chain is critical to perform this role and having 1-2 cross-functional experiences specifically in Make or Source, transformational projects will be added advantage.

Strategic thinking along with evidence of strong people management of a high performing team.
Experience in leading sustainable and quantifiable change/improvement programs.
