We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the New Product Introduction team, participating in Design Transfer meetings, and providing input to DFMEA;
* Cascading CTQ from design input to inspection plan;
* Developing measurement systems (gages) for ongoing product inspection;
* Planning and executing Test Method Validation;
* Actively participating in Engineering Studies for process characterization;
* Collaborating with projects for process improvement and automation implementation;
* Developing control plans consistent with product classification and defect types;
* Reviewing and releasing Production Risk Management documentation;
* Producing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with:
* A minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Biomedical/Mechanical/Automation engineering);
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Automotive; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
* Experience in a highly regulated environment (familiarity with ISO 13485, CFR 21 part 820, and MDR);
* Knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and/or inferential statistical techniques;
* Familiarity with MS Office, Agile, and Windchill is a plus;
* Fluent communication skills in Italian and English;
* Knowledge of German is a plus.

This role is based in Mezzovico, and the position will be limited to approximately 7 months.
