Experience Development & Delivery Senior Manager
The Experience Development & Delivery Senior Manager will lead the operationalisation and implementation of all new concepts, experiences, activities, and dedicated spaces in MSC's newbuild portfolio.
About the Role:
* Lead the development and delivery of innovative guest experiences that meet consumer insights, operational needs, and drive profitability and satisfaction for the MSC brand.
* Support strategic rollout efforts on new ship projects and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful product execution.
* Work closely with Hotel Operations, F&B, Entertainment, Newbuild, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Sales, and Revenue Management teams to develop and implement guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and direct collaboration with partners and stakeholders to create viable, feasible, and desirable products for guests.
2. Accountable for developing products and experiences for MSC, responsible for final delivery, and bringing the strategic vision to life.
3. Work with Operations, Newbuild, Marketing, and senior leadership to ensure proper awareness, collaboration, approvals, and planning.
4. Collaborate with creative partners to name, create visual identity, and craft narratives to bring concepts to life.
5. Work closely with Hotel Operations to deliver onboard programming and expectations.
6. Support product development leadership by developing start-up plans to ensure flawless execution from initiation.
7. Provide critical information regarding concepts and experiences to key areas of the business to develop a cross-functional launch.
8. Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders involved in day-to-day projects.
9. Identify short- and long-term roadmaps and project manage timelines and deliverables.
10. Ensure leadership is informed of updates, project status, and deadlines via over-communication and status documents.
Requirements:
* 4-6 years of experience in business, product marketing, or operations.
* 4+ years of experience in the cruise industry or hospitality/guest experience products.
* 2+ years of youth/family and activities/education/recreation experience a plus.
* Past experience working with Architects/Designers/Creative & Innovation Consultants a plus.
* Strong execution, project management, creative, and critical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to grasp the complexities of the business to effectively translate into an action plan.
* Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience on Design process or some experience on Customer Journey Mapping.
* Experience in managing internal and/or cross-functional teams.
* Ability to assemble, lead, and influence cross-functional teams to develop strategies with input and buy-in from all stakeholders.
* Proven ability to collaborate with others, build strong and sustainable relationships, and interact with all levels of the organisation.
* Willingness to take personal initiative.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel 20% - 30%.
* Strong business acumen.
* Strong storytelling and presentation skills, experience presenting to executive leadership.
* Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the senior-most executive levels of a company.
* Attention to detail and follow-through.
* Fluent in English, proficiency in Italian or French preferred.
