We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong focus on content and personalization to shape the future of On's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. On.com and the On app are available in over 50 countries, with multiple languages and currencies and serve millions of users each month. This position will play a crucial role in meeting the expectations of our customers and developing a long-term strategy for our e-commerce platform offerings.
As a Product Manager on our Digital Team, you'll drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our content and personalization platform. Your role is crucial in delivering tailored, compelling experiences to our users through optimized platforms and services.
Your Mission
1. Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for content, experimentation, and personalization. This strategy should be closely aligned with the Digital team's goals, focusing on optimizing workflows and enabling for the future.
2. Content: Oversee the content management system (CMS) and ensure it supports efficient content creation, curation, and distribution. Partner with content creators and marketers to ensure optimized systems and workflows that deliver high-quality, relevant content across all channels.
3. Experimentation: Manage the implementation and optimization of experimentation platforms to facilitate A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
4. Personalization: Leverage data and analytics to understand user behavior and preferences. Define the overall product strategy for personalization across web and app and partner with technology teams to deliver personalized experiences.
5. Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-centric approach, gathering and analyzing user feedback and data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
6. Measurable impact: Define goals and KPIs and regularly evaluate and report on the performance of existing capabilities and new features, helping the team to make data driven decisions.
7. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for content and personalization initiatives. Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Team champion: Act as a champion for the team and their work, proactively sharing updates and elevating their accomplishments to the wider organization.
Your Story
1. You have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Manager working directly with engineering and design organizations to produce products with proven business value.
2. You have experience working with technology teams on internal platforms and services - ideally directly with content and personalization - and are able to evaluate technical risks and implications.
3. You are a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record of releasing capabilities that solve real customer problems.
4. You have exceptional communication skills and are able to build strong cross functional relationships.
5. You are experienced and comfortable working with leadership teams.
6. You enjoy creating processes and driving new types of work and socializing these to teams.
7. You are fluent in connecting technology with business outcomes using data and have the ability to communicate strategy to enable execution and delivery.
8. You have a passion for digital experience and have active knowledge of the latest digital technologies, machine learning, data and analytics, and digital marketing strategy.
Meet The Team
You will be part of the DTC Digital Product organization. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining our customer-facing digital experiences for e-commerce. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, content production, UX/UI design, CRM, and user research to build and optimize a platform that supports effective internal workflows and delivers a premium experience.
