Electronics Design Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our R&D and Design Center in Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs and leading projects from concept to delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create high-quality schematics, layouts, and Bill of Materials (BoM) for new products and product variants using Altium Designer.
* Closely collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
* Maintain and update libraries (schematic, PCB, 3D) and local component databases related to Altium Designer.
* Develop all necessary production documentation for new products and product variants.
* Implement new products and product variants in the PLM system.
* Design and develop 3D constructions.
* Perform low-voltage measurements, including type test measurements.
* Conduct research, laboratory, and mechanical work in support of product development engineers.
* Evaluate and assess new Altium Designer releases and associated software components.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic/electrical engineering.
* Several years of professional experience as a PCB Designer/PCB Layouter/PCB Design Engineer/PCB Layout Engineer in the industry.
* Hands-on experience with schematics and layout creation.
* Experience working with databases and libraries.
* Familiarity with low-voltage measurement techniques.
* Proficient in Altium Designer layout software.
* Excellent English language skills. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
