We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP Senior ABAP Developer to join our client's dynamic IT team. Your Role
As a Senior ABAP Developer, you will:
- Design and Develop: Create customised SAP programmes, reports, forms, and interfaces for the company's SAP S/4HANA system to meet internal requirements.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Analyse and fix errors in existing ABAP programmes to improve quality and performance.
- Develop Interfaces: Build connections between SAP and external systems using tools like IDocs, BAPIs, or OData.
- Optimise Performance: Improve the speed and functionality of ABAP applications to ensure smooth operations.
- Share Knowledge: Support your team by mentoring and training less experienced developers, helping them grow their skills.

What You Need to Succeed
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar qualifications.
- Experience: Strong background in ABAP development, especially in complex projects. Experience with SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, or QM is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of ABAP, including object-oriented programming (ABAP Objects).
- Familiarity with SAP GUI, Eclipse (ABAP Development Tools), transport management systems, and Adobe Forms.
- Experience with SQL, Open SQL, and modern SAP tools like ABAP RAP and CDS Views.
- Skills in JavaScript, HTML, or other web technologies are helpful but not essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Languages: Fluency in German is required, with good English skills.
