The position of Culinary Instructor includes providing training and instruction as well as holistic experience for students from all over the world.
Tasks This position belongs to the group of lecturers and has the following tasks:
Planning, preparation and cooking of regional and national dishes for school staff, students and guests.
Planning and implementation of parties and banquets.
Theory and practical training of the students.
Compliance with all mandatory HACCP.
Working with students includes the following main areas: Practical training content: Learning the elementary basics in the kitchen (cutting, cooking, serving).
Preparation and serving of dishes from various origins.
Mindfulness and implementation of hygiene standards.
Theoretical training content: Preparation methods according to the fruits, vegetables, fish and meats.
Differentiation between different types of spices.
Appropriate use of the food according to its nature.
Cooking and shelf life methods of food.
In addition to imparting theoretical and practical training content, the students' exams are held by the cookery teacher.
Requirements At least 3 years of professional experience as a chef. Ideally SVEB certified.
