We are looking for an energetic and motivated Events and Careers Coordinator to join our Careers Department at the Geneva campus. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a passion for event management, communications, and corporate relationship-building. The ideal candidate will have excellent social media knowledge, IT proficiency, and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
Plan, organize, and execute career-focused events such as career fairs, employer presentations, conferences, networking events, and skill-building workshops.
Coordinate with speakers, companies, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality events.
Develop post-event evaluations and reports to analyse impact and identify areas for improvement.
Communications
Create and implement communication strategies to promote career services to students, alumni, and corporate partners.
Design engaging content for newsletters, social media, and email campaigns to promote events and student achievements.
Build a strong and recognizable presence for the Careers Department across internal and external communication platforms.
Corporate Relations
Develop and maintain relationships with local and international corporate partners that align with EU’s mission and values.
Coordinate employer engagement activities, such as campus recruitment drives and guest speaker events.
Student Support
Assist students with career-related queries, offering guidance on CV building, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
Organize and facilitate career development workshops tailored to student needs.
About you
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education : Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in event planning, communications, career services, or corporate relations.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
IT skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or another European language is highly desirable.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the needs of an international student body.
Energetic, proactive, and creative mindset with a can-do attitude.
