We are opening a position for a Senior FINANCE Business Analyst to strengthen the team of our client based in Geneva. This role is part of one of our client product line, focusing on the FINANCE product. This product supports finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury management, Asset and Lease administration, Expense management, and Budgeting and Forecasting. The primary application used is Oracle PeopleSoft, complemented by over 20 satellite applications for specific needs.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders from the Finance and Accounting departments to collect requirements, design tailored solutions, and implement enhancements for the FINANCE product applications.
2. Analyze and refine existing functional specifications to ensure alignment with current business processes and objectives.
3. Propose and implement improvements to existing and future processes based on in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting practices.
4. Optimize workflows and systems to improve operational efficiency and maximize business value.
5. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to build consensus and drive decision-making, particularly from a UX perspective.
6. Work with technical teams to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
7. Contribute to the implementation and deployment of finance systems, including requirements definition, solution design, and testing.
8. Operate within a SAFe Agile framework and apply ITIL best practices for service delivery and management.
Minimum Requirements
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant specializing in finance and accounting processes.
2. Proven track record of successfully implementing financial systems, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, and deploying systems.
3. Advanced functional expertise in at least two of the following PeopleSoft modules:
1. General Ledger
2. Accounts Receivable
3. Lease Administration
4. Project Costing
4. Strong analytical skills to convert business needs into technical requirements and UX design concepts.
5. Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a strong advantage.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
7. Proven experience in leading workshops, meetings, and presentations with a focus on UX and solution development.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
9. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
10. Knowledge of ITIL practices is a strong asset.
11. Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment is highly desirable.
