Design and Documentation
Create product functional and physical architectures for the Pilatus Ground Based Training Equipment (GBTS), specifically flight simulators, in accordance with ISO standards 15288/12207.
Hardware Requirements
Define, derive, and manage hardware requirements based on customer contracts, market needs, and available technology to develop Pilatus products.
System Implementation and Testing
Develop hardware assemblies and components (Hardware Configuration Items – HWCIs) and their interfaces to ensure correct, testable, and verifiable implementation.
Support system installation and testing at customer sites, which may involve international travel.
Verification and Validation
Define and perform necessary tests as part of the Verification and Validation plan.
After-Sales Support
Provide technical assistance to customers through query answering and technical investigations as required by the support team.
Requirements
* Masters degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* At least two years of experience as a hardware designer for complex hardware/software systems, such as machinery or vehicles.
* Experience working on flight simulators is advantageous.
* Direct experience with end-users is beneficial.
Skills and Qualities
* English language skills at level C1.
* A good command of German is an advantage.
* Able to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team with a proactive attitude.
* Excellent communication and social skills.
* Flexible to interact with internal and external customers and willing to travel internationally.
