The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement price-setting tools, models, and frameworks that enable financial parameter-based pricing calculations, while fostering a unique culture centered around growth, profitability, and long-term vision.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Pricing Process Leadership: Coordinate the pricing process across Brand, Sales, and Finance functions to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
* Data Transparency: Establish a single source of truth database and analytical capabilities to provide comprehensive insights into pricing-related data.
* Total Pricing Procedure Management: Optimize pricing processes for maximum efficiency, ensuring timely responses to market conditions.
* Pricing Strategy Formulation: Develop and implement pricing strategies to enhance profitability, maintaining integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
* Integrated Price/Profit Maximization: Ensure a cohesive approach to pricing and profit maximization across markets and channels.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cooperate with key stakeholders from merchandising, sales, marketing departments, discount, and promotion controllers.
* Insight Generation: Structure insights to influence future pricing, promotions, merchandising decisions, and designs, as well as monitor price trials and promotion testing.
* Presentations and Research: Conduct and coordinate presentations, field research, and cost revisions focusing on current industry rates for similar products.
* Pricing Analyst Supervision: Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities including new price generation, discrepancy resolution, and key markets' price list generation.
* Financial Impact Analysis: Analyze the financial impact of price approaches in view of overall history and customer profitability.
Your Ideal Profile:
* Educational Background: University degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, or a field with a quantitative focus.
* Experience: Relevant experience in regional pricing and business analysis, project management in a headquarters function, and team management competences.
* Skills: Proficient user of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP BW tools, proactive, practical, and hands-on approach, excellent command of English language.
* Additional Requirements: Previous exposure to sales and finance is necessary; exposure to marketing, apparel, or retail is a plus.
