JOB SUMMARY
The Business Operations Manager will be an integral part of our management team and play a key role in overseeing the operations for multiple manufacturing facilities and ensuring the plants run efficiently & adhering to Nefab Group’s policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the group’s overall guidelines, ways of working & operations strategy and ensure local initiatives are clearly aligned.
Build a continuous improvement and operational excellence culture in the plant(s).
Introduce / upgrade manufacturing technologies & machinery.
Optimize plant operations with respect to machinery, material & manpower.
Recruit and select key positions / people.
Continuously assess the team’s competence and work closely to build / bridge the gap by providing required training.
Implement and maintain QHSE standards as per the group & customer requirements.
Be involved in the selection of key suppliers / service partners & relationship management.
Ensure compliance with local laws, group requirements & customer mandated needs.
Drive actions for on-time delivery to customers as per the agreed timelines.
Initiate actions to improve customer intimacy and delight, working closely with the sales team.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or other equivalent degrees.
Proven longstanding experience in a similar position managing production teams and improving operational processes, ideally within a corporate or multinational environment.
LANGUAGES
Excellent communication skills in English and German.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong experience in managing multi-location production teams.
Improving operational efficiencies by optimizing resources.
Proven leadership skills.
High level of work ethic.
Analytical mindset.
Ability to make effective and persuasive communication and presentations to individuals and groups.
Profound knowledge of MS Office applications.
