We are looking for a highly driven and motivated:
R&D Sourcing Manager
The R&D Sourcing Manager plays a key role in sourcing and introducing new raw materials for new ingredients to be introduced into the palette and empowering the R&D team by providing information on industrial costing, carbon footprint data for raw materials, or competitive intelligence on the fine chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Boost competitiveness and performance by scouting, sourcing, sampling, and introducing new raw materials (RMs) for fragrance and flavor ingredients in development or optimization phase.
* Answer and provide sourcing information upon R&D request in a timely manner.
* Empower the R&D team by providing competitive intelligence information of the fine chemical industry.
* Enable Green and low Carbon transition by co-leading transversal programs and finding sustainable and interesting raw materials, processes, or companies.
* Proactively identify new RMs or companies offering sustainable solutions.
* Co-lead green transition R&D program and share updates during Steering committee.
* Support digitalization by owning sourcing data and improving its availability and accuracy in corporate tool.
* Ensure business continuity for ingredients industrialization and manage the procurement category related to new ingredients ramp-up.
* Represent Procurement within Ingredients committees.
* Support R&D and Procurement communities and proactively facilitate their interactions.

You Bring:
* Either a business background with MSc in Procurement and proven knowledge of chemistry or a scientific background with MSc or PhD in Chemistry, with proven business interest.
* 3-5 years of work experience within the relevant field would be a significant asset.
* Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve results in a complex and partially remote environment.
* Curious, open-minded, highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
* Fluency in English and preferentially in French.
