We are looking for a forward-thinking and creative marketing and communications professional to manage all marketing activities for HVGGE Place, supporting YOTEL’s global Brand team to build brand awareness throughout the region.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing, PR and partnerships strategy to grow the profile of HVGGE Place and YOTEL Geneva Lake, support the commercial goals and drive revenue. You’ll collaborate with the Meetings and Events and Food and Beverage teams to define and deliver tactics and activations to drive B2C and B2B awareness in the local Geneva, national and international markets. This will include managing the social media content strategy for local channels and developing a PR plan for media outreach in key feeder markets.
You’ll sit within the commercial function and work closely with the sales team to ensure the sales strategy is integrated into all marketing activity and to build relationships with local partners.
Based on-site at the hotel, you’ll be the YOTEL brand guardian, ensuring that YOTEL values are reflected throughout the guest journey, including (but not limited to) guest promotions, the property’s online presence, and identifying incremental revenue opportunities.
Reporting to the General Manager and supported by the HQ Brand and Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will serve as a key member of the hotel senior management team and have a major part in the opening of YOTEL Geneva Lake.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:
1. You’ll be responsible for the marketing, PR and partnerships plan for the hotel.
2. You'll work closely with the hotel sales team to deliver on-property and local activations.
3. Alongside the HQ brand and digital teams to define and deliver marketing tactics that will increase awareness for the hotel throughout Switzerland and key feeder markets (France, Germany, Benelux).
4. You'll be responsible for supporting the success of our owned and earned channels supporting hotels, food & beverage, and meetings & events.
5. You will sit within the commercial function and work closely with brand and ecommerce, as well as external partners and agencies, to improve and measure hotel channels.
6. Alongside these key competencies, the incumbent of the role will be required to demonstrate the fundamentals of the company’s Values.
The skills we are looking for are:
1. 5 years in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
2. Experience of working in hotel / food & beverage and or meetings / events / conference sectors.
3. Project management experience.
4. Excellent written English & French.
5. Marketing or PR experience in-house or agency.
6. Proven track record of developing and implementing a marketing / communications plan.
7. Demonstrable understanding of hotel, food and beverage, or meetings/events/conferences sectors.
8. Demonstrated project management experience involving complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Desired:
1. Experience with CMS management and social media content platforms.
2. Network of local media and influencer contacts.
3. German language skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of Lake Geneva region.
