For a leading Lifestyle brand on the renowned Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich-City, we seek an experienced Assistant Store Manager/Deputy manager to collaborate with the Store Manager and elevate store operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in recruiting, integrating, and training new staff members.
* Inspire team members to excel in customer service and skills development.
* Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive work environment.
* Resolve conflicts impartially and facilitate effective communication through regular meetings.
Sales Management
* Promote team performance to meet sales objectives.
* Enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Elevate customer experience and ensure excellent service.
* Maintain knowledge of collections and stock availability.
Brand Representation
* Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe store environment.
* Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
* Educate the team on merchandising principles.
Store Management
* Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with labor laws.
* Monitor financial procedures and analyze sales results.
* Foster efficient communication within the hierarchy.
Store Organization
* Ensure proper maintenance of the store, stockroom, and materials.
* Oversee logistical tasks such as deliveries, stock management, and inventory.
* Maintain security and hygiene standards.
Requirements
* Relevant education in Retail, Sales, or Management.
* Experience in Retail sales and store management.
* Highly customer-oriented and skilled in customer care and experience.
* Strong drive and initiative.
* Prior experience in PR and marketing activities.
* Proficient in sales strategy.
* Skilled with numbers, budgeting, and some financials.
* High commitment to a brand and employer.
* Flexibility with schedules and various work shifts (Mon-Sat).
* Fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
