ServiceNow DevOps Engineer / Ingenieur
Our client, a market-leading company in Bern, Switzerland, is seeking three ServiceNow DevOps Engineers to join their Agile team. The ideal candidate will have an agile mindset, strong self-organizing skills, and the ability to work in cross-cultural environments.
In this role, you will contribute to the analysis of new applications and capabilities, working closely with business and developers to bridge knowledge gaps. Your understanding of complex solutions and needs will be applied through various tasks, including:
* Data model adaptations in ServiceNow
* Domain separation and cross-domain reuse
* Service automation alongside instantiation
* The integration of external automation frameworks and data stores
* Portal generation based on business service portfolios and external UX design
* Reporting and service dashboards, particularly for billing and monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
* Analyzing and implementing data model adaptations in ServiceNow
* Implementing domain separation and cross-domain reuse strategies
* Designing and implementing service automation solutions
* Integrating external automation frameworks and data stores
* Generating portals based on business service portfolios and external UX design
* Developing reporting and service dashboards for billing and monitoring
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
* A minimum of 5 years of experience with ServiceNow
* Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design methods
* Fluency in English
Nice to Have:
The following skills are desirable but not essential:
* Experience with microservice architectures
* Python programming skills
* Knowledge of SQL and graph databases
* Proficiency in German and/or French

* Job location: Hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the office at our client's premises in Bern and 2-3 days per week working from home within Switzerland
