Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that drives global supply chain excellence for top-tier products? As a Brand Supply Chain Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless demand, supply, and inventory management for assigned strategic products and assigned markets. Your strategic vision and leadership will be crucial in navigating mid-term (3-24 months) and long-term (3-10 years) planning horizons to meet commercial demands and operational capacities. You will be accountable for the supply chain performance of the owned portfolio.
You will interface regularly with Commercial, Operation departments, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, MS&T and Finance to drive appropriate Supply Chain strategies. This position has regular leadership exposure to coordinate resolution of supply challenges and development of cross-functional mitigation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for robust replenishment planning and processes.
2. Responsible for coordination of planning activities on New Product Introductions and Label changes for assigned suppliers in the mid and long term.
3. Cross-functional communication with different departments to ensure fulfillment of mid to long term demand.
4. Proactively avoid potential backorders and develop action plans upon their occurrence.
5. Review demand Risks and Opportunities outside the frozen period and pro-actively develop scenarios, to enable agility and speed in decision making processes.
6. Run deep demand analysis and proactively report results with clear explanations on main changes.
7. Regular Commercial alignment on business plans, Supply Chain challenges and LRP's.
8. Manage shortage of supplies impacting mid to long term and provide business impact and mitigation scenarios.
9. Ensure close collaboration & communication with TPM’s or manufacturing sites, to achieve alignment on supply chain topics such as inventory, capacity, constraints and NPI’s.
10. Accountable for providing monthly Replenishment forecast to assigned suppliers and in line with contracts and MSA’s.
11. Provides Volume projections/Last Best Estimates for assigned product portfolio, provide volume commitments and capacity reservations scenarios as required.
12. Develop Long Range Plan & capacity analyzes for assigned products.
13. Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA) with supply chain partners.
14. Create, propose and monitor strategic Long term procurement plans - in alignment with stakeholders and (Sr.) Management.
15. Provides Inventory projections/Last Best Estimates for assigned product portfolio.
16. Defines & implement inventory strategies in line with overall divisional targets.
17. Create, implement and monitor strategic long term inventory plans - in alignment with stakeholders and (Sr.) Management.
18. Assure compliance with local and Abbott quality, financial, and regulatory rules, policies and procedures.
19. Responsible for providing (Master Data) input for new material creation in SAP.
20. Projects: Manage/Lead projects as assigned, incl. Supply Chain Risk Mitigation strategies.
21. Drive and maintain effective relationships with internal EPD stakeholders, (third party) manufacturing plants, and regional counterparts.
22. Develop and drive continuous improvement in Supply Chain.
23. Optimize Supply chain Planning parameters (i.e. SS, MOQ's) across the different nodes of the supply chain.
24. Represent Supply Chain in Business Review Meetings, Demand & Operations Planning, Workstream and other cross-functional meetings.
25. Provide appropriate CAPA in case of performance below target.
26. Lead Demand & Operational Planning meetings and Management Review Meeting involving EPO Senior Management.
27. Present elevation slides as Supply Chain representative in regional S&OP meetings.
Key Requirements:
1. Master's degree (MSc) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
2. 5-10 years' experience in Supply chain environment (demand/supply/production planning), preferably in Pharma business.
3. Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) and the ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment.
4. Ability to anticipate challenges and work pro-actively on mitigation strategies.
5. Regularly challenge the organization, bring new ideas on Process Optimizations, take the lead on cross-functional initiatives.
6. Strong analytical skills are a necessity for capacity planning, inventory management and KPI analysis.
7. Good foundation in Basics of Supply Chain management.
8. Good understanding of S&OP/MRP (Material Requirement Planning)/MPS (Master Production Schedule) planning systems and business applications is preferred.
9. Experience with systems as SAP ECC/APO and Power BI is preferred.
10. Innovation and initiative are required to identify and implement business process improvements.
11. Adaptable and maintain the ability to be flexible in an ever-changing and challenging environment.
12. Strong skills in synthesis, great ability to present on-going challenges to senior management in a way which will facilitate decision making.
13. Strategic thinking skills are required as well as Leadership skills and Global Stakeholder management.
