Exciting Opportunity: Sous Chef (Fish Preparation Station) – Cruise Ship
Are you ready to elevate your culinary career in a world-class environment at sea? We’re looking for a Sous Chef specializing in fish and seafood preparation, with fine-dining experience, to join a luxury ocean cruise line hosting 600-800 guests and offering 6 unique restaurants on board.
What You’ll Do:
* Oversee the fish preparation station in the main kitchen, delivering top-tier seafood dishes for multiple dining outlets, including the main restaurant.
* Collaborate closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef to maintain exceptional culinary standards.
* Work onboard for 5 months with a 2-month break. With strong performance, your contract can continue long-term, offering significant growth and promotion opportunities.
Key Details:
* Monthly Salary: ~US$4,566 (paid while onboard)
* Starting date: June 2025
* Work Schedule: 7 days/week, ~10 hours/day
* Requirements:
* STCW certification
* C1/D Visa (if not a U.S. or Canadian citizen/permanent resident)
* Seaman’s Book
* Medical tests (maritime standard)
* Previous fine-dining experience (required)
* Previous luxury cruise experience (preferred)
* English fluency (required)
* Culinary certificate or equivalent
