The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.
Start June or August 2025.
As F&B Trainee, you are responsible for the following duties:
* Welcoming the guests to the restaurant
* Helping with the wardrobe
* Seating the guests according to the plan
* Presentation of the menus
* Handling calls and queries
* Managing table reservations and walk-ins
* Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines
As F&B Trainee, we expect from you:
* Enrolled as a student in a Swiss hotel management school
* Warm welcoming personality with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good organisational skills with the ability to handle reservations
* Good understanding of luxury service and willingness to go the extra mile
* Expressiveness, open-mindedness, and team spirit
* Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
* Very good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
