Key Leadership Role: CFAO and Member of the Executive Board
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our finance department as CFAO and Member of the Executive Board at our Wallisellen location in Zurich.
This key leadership role reports directly to the Allianz Trade's CEO and has a matrix line report to DACH CFO and DACH COO. The position involves coordinating the financial, operations, legal, and privacy functions, setting up best practice finance functions within an integrated operational structure.
Main Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Manage core financial functions including accounting, treasury, budgeting, controlling, reporting, and tax
o Evaluate and ensure local compliance with BU budgetary reporting requirements
o Monitor and coordinate local budgeting and forecasting process
o Provide financial and business KPIs supporting growth strategy
* Operations Management: Oversee core operations functions including policy management, procurement, facilities, IT, and operational resilience
* Legal and Data Privacy: Act as point of contact for general legal matters, coordinating with external counsel and regional in-house legal department, and handle privacy matters in liaison with DACH DPO
* Internal Controls: Implement and maintain finance and operations internal controls in line with Allianz Trade risk management guidelines
* Process Optimization: Identify efficient and cost-effective solutions for contract administration, procurement, and facility management, aligning with global policies
* Regional/Group Projects: Support regional/group projects as required
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and legal provisions and laws
* Auditor Relationships: Maintain relationships with internal and external auditors and FINMA (regulator)
Requirements:
* Masters degree in Business Administration/Finance, MBA or similar
* Proven expertise in one core finance area (accounting, controlling, tax, actuarial, investment)
* Knowledge of Credit Insurance market specificities
* Understanding of Swiss market and regulatory environment
* Finance best practices knowledge
* Strong analytical skills
* Team player with high willingness to learn and openness to new ideas
* Good self-organization to maintain overview of wide range of tasks and business transactions
* Ability to work under pressure with high level of initiative and solution-oriented approach
* Fluent English and German language skills
