**Job Title:** Media Relations & Content Specialist
The ideal candidate will support EFG's earned media strategy and activities, handle standard media enquiries, write media releases, advise on media-related matters, and manage daily and weekly media monitoring.
This role includes managing media publishing systems, collaborating with IT, Digital Marketing, and vendor management. Content management and production are also key responsibilities, focusing on investment expertise, thought leadership, sponsorship, ESG, HR, and next generation.
This position requires driving digitalisation and automation in Corporate Communications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support EFG's corporate positioning and messaging through high-quality earned media activities to increase brand awareness and positioning.
* Manage standard media enquiries and internal information flow.
* Draft communication materials (media releases, statements, briefing documents, editorials, intranet news, social media posts).
* Lead and manage media relations publishing across channels.
* Manage and publish daily press reviews and contribute to weekly media summary documents.
* Support editorial planning and content production for EFG's multi-channel approach.
* Identify opportunities to drive automation and efficiency.
* Ensure all activities and content are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* University degree in Journalism and/or Communications.
* Experience in a similar role with a preference for the financial services industry.
* Excellent English writing and editing skills; good knowledge of German is a strong plus.
* Able to work under pressure with short deadlines; high flexibility required.
* Strong project management, organisational, and time management skills.
* Entrepreneurial attitude, focus on developing and delivering solutions.
* Proficient in MS Office tools; knowledge of CMS, web, and social media publishing.
