What will you do
The Brand Manager is an important global role in the Johnson Controls brand function. The Manager will drive all brand projects for smart buildings in areas such as brand strategy, brand performance, competitive evaluation and benchmarking as well as planning, integration and activation support.
How you will do it
1. Deliver and systemically refine JCIs brand strategy in smart buildings including brand architecture and identity creation
2. Deliver competitive benchmarks and analysis for JCI’s global brand performance in the smart buildings space, driving to recommendations that breakthrough in this industry
3. Provide governance and support in the global activation of the smart buildings brand strategy and map progress and recommendations how to close gaps
4. Engage in key thought leadership and positioning programs that build the equity and strength of the brand in smart buildings
5. Advance programs and activities to increase global engagement in the smart buildings category, externally and internally
6. Ensure awareness of the JCI smart buildings brand strategy with new acquisitions and joint ventures as well as for new events and showcases
What we look for
Required
7. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
8. Extensive experience in marketing and communications and specific experience within Brand Strategy in a global organization
9. Demonstrated track record in collaboration and team work
10. Strong sense of curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit in actively looking for opportunities
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken English language skill is essential to this position
12. Strong writing, analytical, project management and organizational skills
13. Thrives in fast paced international environment and has a strong sense of urgency
14. Willing to work 3 days from the office in Neuhausen
