What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and talented HR Business Partner to join our HR Team based in Geneva, Switzerland.
What do we expect from the candidate?
We expect the candidate to be responsible for maintaining the Swiss offices (Geneva) operational/administrative processes, HR policies and practices. Work closely with the HR Director and the Group Director Human Capital & Legal and play an essential role in delivering HR services and policies that support the local offices (Geneva) and the Firm's overall business objectives. The HR Business Partner will also interact with group leaders and functional managers in the office and in all group subsidiaries, as necessary, to ensure a seamless and smooth operational / administrative service for employees and professionals.
The key responsibilities:
* Support the Group HR Director in monthly operations.
* Work closely with HR teams across subsidiaries to ensure alignment, share best practices, and support local HR initiatives.
* Coordinate closely with external payroll and HR administration provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
* Regularly update dashboards, the HRIS system, and employee records.
* Prepare comprehensive HR administrative reports for various stakeholders.
* Oversee the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, internal moves) in collaboration with external HR service providers.
* Advise teams on local policies and labor law compliance in Switzerland.
* Manage illness and accident declarations, ensuring proper follow-up on reimbursements.
* Draft and track employment contracts and amendments.
* Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of HR processes.
* Address employee inquiries and escalate complex issues when necessary.
* Support legal and administrative aspects of employee terminations.
* Manage job postings on the internal ATS and forward applications to hiring managers.
* Assist with special projects, including presentations, reports, and both local and international HR initiatives.
* Participate in HR projects to enhance processes and employee experience.
* Develop and coordinate annual training plans in collaboration with managers.
If you possess…
Must-Have:
* Good knowledge in Swiss law and Swiss payroll,
* 5 years + of experience in HR
* Bilingual French / English both written and spoken,
* Degree level qualification from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Human Resources or similar,
* The HR Swiss Exams certificate (HRSE),
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Nice-to-Have:
* Experience: working with African countries,
* Language: Proficiency in Portuguese
* HR management tools: Knowledge in working with an HRIS (preferably Lucca), and an ATS (Teamtailor)
