The Technology Center Switzerland plays a key role in this global development organization, responsible for developing and optimizing products such as Gas Insulated Switchgear, Generator Circuit Breakers, Surge Arresters, High Voltage Interrupter Chambers, and Control and Monitoring solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Engineer to join our team. This individual will oversee all aspects of technical projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, working closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget delivery to the highest quality standards.

Your Responsibilities
Technical project engineering of generator circuit breaker systems, including support during the offer and processing phase until the end of on-site assembly.
Design and execute GCB projects according to customer requirements and specifications.
Prepare contractual primary engineering documents in collaboration with various departments and external customers.
Lead technical customer meetings and negotiate at a professional level.
Provide technical advice and develop solutions with and at the customer.
Occasional travel to customer and/or site meetings during feasibility and/or project execution phases.
Coordinate required steel and secondary engineering activities.
Ensure technical and quality-compliant solutions, as well as technical coordination of activities with upstream and downstream departments.
Adhere to commercial project deliverables and support the commercial project manager with up-sales.
Your Background
Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Strong understanding of high voltage/substation/switchgear engineering.
Analytical work methodology, independent, engaged, and cost-conscious.
At least 2 years of experience in technical project management.
Familiarity with CAD (3D and 2D) and Microsoft Office, as well as possible SAP system knowledge.
Independent, structured, and reliable work style, with self-control over activities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills for leading technical meetings both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.
Bilingual in English; German would be beneficial.
