M&A Business Developer m/f
After an onboarding phase with the support of the whole team and our VP Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring targets (Small & lower Mid-Cap software publishers).
As a true expert in business development, you will use your creativity to approach high-level managers with whom you will build long-term relationships based on trust. You will utilize our IT tools to draw up account management plans and to perfect your organization on a vast, high-potential playing field (Switzerland and Austria). You will analyze target sectors and companies to determine appropriate candidates based on the company's specific characteristics. You will develop and run campaigns to approach vertical market technology companies. You will take part in trade shows, conferences, and Coffee Talks to initiate contacts and establish close and local relationships with high-level contacts, explaining our unique and revolutionary strategy for buying and retaining acquisitions.
You will collect operational data and leads for our matrix organization, and review and present financial information on target companies to the Group's M&A team.
In this exciting position, you'll spearhead our organization and strategy of conquest.
In addition to the technical aspects of the job (Programmatic Approach) and the in-depth sales work (researching and approaching target companies), you will have the chance to express your creativity and make your own contribution to our exciting development project.
Male or female, ideally with 5 years' higher education (Business School, Engineering School, Top University, etc.), you will bring an initial successful and meaningful sales experience (3 to 10 years), preferably acquired in an M&A or software publisher context, enriched by a “new business” oriented approach.
Today, you are a Sales Engineer, Business Engineer, Account Manager, or Business Developer.
For example, you may be working for a software publisher, a digital solutions provider, an Internet start-up... We are also open to candidates coming from other industries, as long as they are familiar with the M&A specificities.
