The Patient Safety Analytics product will primarily focus on how to leverage Advanced Analytics and AI in the Safety Domain. With the recent advancements in Generative AI, and the opportunity this provides with content generation in particular, the ideal candidate brings experience with this innovative technology.
The Opportunity:
* Stakeholder Management and Partnering: Deeply connect with customer and business needs, closely partner with stakeholders, drive co-creation of product vision and strategy, and craft the digital roadmap to deliver the highest value outcomes for Patients, Society, and Roche.
* Product Lifecycle Management: Define and deliver the product roadmap, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, and ensure alignment with customer needs, business outcomes, Product Line strategy, Enterprise Architecture, and Sustainability principles.
* Leadership and Influence: Lead and manage agile product teams, foster teamwork and partnering across business organizations and Informatics, and work closely with Product Line Leads and Chapters to ensure workforce strategy supports future product needs.
* Security, Quality, and Privacy: Ensure security, quality, and privacy practices are embedded into the product lifecycle in alignment with the global Information Security Management System.
* Collaboration Across Informatics: Coordinate, connect, and collaborate across Informatics to foster a spirit of "One Roche."
* Impact and Complexity Management: Support Product Line Lead in portfolio prioritization, lead strategic planning, define end-to-end service levels, supervise KPIs and OKRs, and manage budgeting and financial aspects of the product.
* Product Governance and Regulatory Compliance: Define and manage product service levels, governance, operational support models, ensure stability, quality, transparency, and partner with senior/global leaders to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Information Security, Privacy, and Regulatory: Ensure products and services are crafted, delivered, and maintained in accordance with information security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating solid understanding of these principles.
Who you are:
* 5+ years of leadership experience with strong understanding and practical knowledge of data and analytics capabilities, approaches, and technologies, including but not limited to: GenAI, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, NLP, Data Management, and Data Integration.
* Bachelor’s or advanced degree with deep understanding of end-to-end core pharmacovigilance processes from ICSR intake to periodic reporting and signal management.
* Exhibits servant, creative leadership (VACC) behavior with a Lean-Agile mindset, embracing Product Management practices and progressive risk-taking that leads to opportunities.
* Has a keen IT market focus, demonstrating a strong passion for major trends in the discipline along with intellectual curiosity, integrity, and the drive for innovation.
* Demonstrates strong safety business acumen, the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and show strong safety business acumen with an enterprise mindset that breaks down silos, promotes collaboration, and achieves continuous delivery.
* Exhibits the ability to empower teams and individuals to act autonomously, hold them accountable, and achieve alignment with organizational goals.
* Manages large product budgets effectively while maintaining a focus on servant leadership, creative problem-solving, and encouraging a collaborative work environment.
