The Job
This role reports to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and involves defining and executing the eCommerce vision, product direction, and web marketing strategy for a best-in-class consumer experience. You will translate data into actionable initiatives to grow the business and take a hands-on approach to deliver strategies to optimise acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
* Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and conduct market research to drive sales growth.
* Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee eCommerce projects, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
* Strategic Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of the eCommerce strategy, identify process improvements, and monitor industry trends.
* Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyse eCommerce performance metrics, generate reports, and use data-driven insights to optimise the eCommerce business.
* Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional project teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
Your Profile
* University degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
* 3-5 years proven experience in business development, customer insights, and project management in an eCommerce environment.
* Understanding of eCommerce market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
* Knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques.
* Proficiency in data analysis, business case creation, and reporting tools.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
* Data-driven decision making and problem-solving mentality.
* Experience in the travel and hospitality industries a plus.
