Volunteer at the Youth Summit for Education for Sustainable Development
2nd - 6th September at BBZ in Herisau
Step into Action is an innovative educational project in the field of sustainability for students and teachers of secondary education. We empower and motivate young people to shape our society, take responsibility, and engage in sustainable development.
Our vision is to unleash the potential and motivation of young people to tackle global challenges locally. Through our summit, we facilitate encounters and exchanges between youth, organizations, social enterprises, young changemakers, teachers, and schools.
Over two days, 40 volunteers, 500 students, and 20 Swiss NGOs and changemakers come together. Through participatory methods, students engage with societal issues and explore their own roles and self-efficacy. The goal is to learn and discover how they can contribute to a sustainable and just world.
