About the Role
We are seeking a Battery Modeling Engineer to join our team in Switzerland.
* You will develop and validate battery simulation models (electrical, ageing, thermal).
* Analyze battery performance data and contribute to model refinement.
* Contribute to defining test cases and test programs that validate the simulation results.
* Work with MATLAB, Simulink, Python or other modeling tools.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on battery design and optimization.
* Capture and formalize requirements for electrical-related aspects of HV batteries.
* Review test procedures and test reports related to electrical tests of batteries.
* Maintain company Standards and Processes.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Bachelor's/Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A PhD on battery topics is a plus.
You should have experience with Battery/HV Simulation or comparable applications.
Expertise in modeling and simulation Tools (e.g. StarCCM+, Ansys, Amesim, MATLAB Simscape) is essential.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Fluent English, French is a plus but not mandatory.
Nice to Have
Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS or Windchill RV&S).
Knowledge of aviation standards and recommended practices (ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-160, DO-311) is an asset.
