Job Description
Main Responsibilities:

o · Process design
o · Participate to the Safety Risk Assessments for the process engineering department
o · Generate and update the User Requirement Specs and the Technical Specs
o · To be able to perform Line sizing calculations, Restriction Orifices
o · P&IDs development
o · Process data sheets
o · Raise Changes through the project change management system
o · Act as contact person between the Lonza Stakeholders (e.g. Operations, EHS, Plant
Engineering) and the external companies (e.g. engineering contractor, vendors)
o · Interact with the external companies
o · Review (and comment) all engineering documentation (e.g. P&IDs, lists, Data Sheets,
specifications, URS, TS, drawings)
o · Participate to 3D model reviews
o · Be part of the review and approval of key engineering documents (e.g. Fluid List, PIDs)
o · Search and verify availability within Lonza (e.g. SAP) for the technical documentation of
the Lonza standard material and equipment required by the engineering contractor and the
vendors and/or subcontractors
o · Participate to the SATs regarding the assigned Units
o · Review and approve the Commissioning and Qualification documentation
o · Support for the commissioning and qualification activities until the handover to Operations
providing technical solutions to the issues that arise from the CQ phase
Requirements
Mandatory requirements: Previous experiences in at least one of those fields: re-design, P&ID, Safety Risk Assessment.
* Requirements:
* · Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Biochemical or equivalent.
* · + 4 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Lead or in a similar technical project
management role within industrial Engineering systems
* · Experience in process design
* · Experience with P&IDs
* · API experience a big plus
* · Strong understanding and expertise in using company/Eng tools (KNEAT, COMOS,
TrackWise...)
* · Fluency in English is a must
