Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to support our Process Engineers in optimizing manufacturing performance and upholding quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical operations within a GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Process Engineers to optimize manufacturing performance and uphold quality standards.
* Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of batch records and documentation.
* Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flowcharts, and requirement documentation to reflect best practices.
* Drive updates to Process Control Systems (PCS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to improve efficiency.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
* SUPORT tech transfer activities to ensure successful process and technology transitions.
* Collaborate with departments such as Manufacturing Science, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to align on operational goals.
* Take accountability for performance and efficiency and deliver high-quality results.
Your Qualifications:
* Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field.
* Proficiency in English; German is an asset.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical operations within a GMP environment.
* Experience in biotech processes, sterile processes, and production equipment handling.
* Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
* Willingness to travel occasionally and availability for remote on-call duties.
