Job Overview
We are looking for an independent, self-motivated, and ambitious sales professional to empower our experienced team. As a Sales Representative, you will cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to solve customer problems, source new products and suppliers according to market demand, and grow designated accounts' sales volume and maintain existing customer base.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate partnerships with customers and suppliers to solve customer problems
2. Sourcing and searching for new products and suppliers according to market demand
3. Grow designated accounts' sales volume and maintain existing customer base
4. Monitor sales growth and new opportunities within designated accounts
5. Achieve or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
6. Identify potential customers and set approach strategies
7. Monitor overall customer satisfaction with our products and services
8. Participate in trade shows (Europe, China) to improve overall market share and profitability
9. Maintain customer information on CRM
10. Provide regular forecast updates
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years in business-to-business sales of chemicals, ingredients, additives, or other raw materials, preferably within Pharma & Food industries
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food science, engineering, or similar technical background
* Age 30-45
* Proven work experience and a strong track record in Sales
* Independent, autonomous, goal-oriented and results-focused individual with good negotiating and influencing skills
* Good organizational skills with a strong customer-focused mindset
* Cooperative team player, supporting each other by sharing positive experiences, success stories, technical know-how, and account knowledge
* (Swiss-) German mother language, good French and English are required combined with excellent communication skills
* Confident user of MS Office and ERP systems
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
* Ability to work from a mobile office
